It creates a tamper-proof health identity that stays with your pet for life and can be accessed securely from anywhere.
Is PawZync available across Sri Lanka?
Yes. PawZync is designed for pet owners and veterinary clinics islandwide. Whether you're in Colombo, Kandy, Galle, or any other location in Sri Lanka, you can access the platform with an internet connection. We're continuously expanding our network of partner clinics across the country.
Do I need to download an app?
PawZync is accessible through a secure web platform that works on smartphones, tablets, and computers. No download is required to get started. Future mobile app expansion may be introduced to enhance the user experience, but the web platform provides full functionality today.

Is it free to create a pet owner account?
Yes. Account creation is completely free for pet owners. There are no hidden fees, setup costs, or monthly subscription requirements to maintain your account and Pet Digital Passport.
Are the first 3 vet bookings really free?
Yes. The first three veterinary bookings made through PawZync are completely free for pet owners. After the first three bookings, only a per-booking fee applies with no monthly subscription required.
How does online vet booking work?
You can view real-time clinic availability, select your preferred time slot, and confirm your appointment instantly within the platform. After booking, you'll receive confirmation details via email or SMS, and automated reminders before your appointment to reduce missed visits.
Can I store all my pet's medical records?
Yes. PawZync allows you to store comprehensive medical records including vaccinations, diagnoses, prescriptions, lab reports, X-rays, allergies, behavioral notes, and visit summaries. All records are organized chronologically within your pet's digital passport for easy access and sharing with veterinarians.
What if my clinic is not on PawZync?
You can manually upload prescriptions, vaccination certificates, lab reports, and treatment details to maintain a complete digital record. This ensures your pet's health history remains comprehensive even if your current clinic isn't using PawZync. You can also suggest your clinic join our network.
Can I manage multiple pets?
Yes. You can manage multiple pets under one secure account. Each pet has their own dedicated digital passport with separate medical records, vaccination schedules, medication reminders, and appointment histories, all accessible from your unified dashboard.
How do medication reminders work?
You can set customizable reminders for each medication based on prescribed intervals (daily, twice daily, weekly, etc.). You'll receive notifications via your preferred method before each dose is due, and you can mark doses as administered to track treatment progress and maintain accurate records.

How does clinic onboarding work?
Clinics contact PawZync through our onboarding form. After verification, our system administrator creates a clinic owner account and sends an invitation via email. The clinic owner then sets up branches, adds staff members, configures schedules, and begins operations. This structured process ensures professional setup and security.
Can clinics manage multiple branches?
Yes. One clinic owner can manage multiple locations under a centralized dashboard. Each branch can have independently configured working hours, staff assignments, and scheduling preferences while maintaining unified oversight and reporting across the entire network.
Is role-based staff access supported?
Yes. PawZync supports structured role-based access control with three main roles: Clinic Owner (full administrative access), Veterinarian (clinical documentation and patient care access), and Staff (limited operational access). Permissions are precisely defined to protect sensitive information while enabling efficient workflows.
How are appointments confirmed?
When a pet owner books an appointment through the platform, it appears instantly in your clinic dashboard. Automated confirmation notifications are sent to the pet owner immediately. You maintain full control to modify, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed, with automatic notifications to pet owners about any changes.

Who owns the pet's medical data?
Pet owners maintain full control and ownership of their pet's digital passport and medical records. PawZync provides the secure platform to store and manage this information, but you decide who can access your pet's health data and when.
Can clinics access records without permission?
No. Access is strictly consent-based and controlled by the pet owner. Clinics can only view a pet's medical records when the owner grants explicit permission, typically during an appointment or consultation. Owners can revoke access at any time.
Is the system secure?
Yes. PawZync uses enterprise-grade secure cloud infrastructure with encryption for data at rest and in transit. We implement structured access controls, audit trails, and privacy-first architecture to protect all health information. Regular security updates and monitoring ensure ongoing protection.
